Movers of the month

 From each of our ACT courses, we want to highlight students who made  great improvements from one test to the next.  Below is a list of past  Movers of the Month from 2009-2012. 

Savan Anderson
Savan  improved 5 points from a practice exam he took with us in August 2011  to a practice exam he took in April 2013.  Savan got 31 more questions  correct.  His greatest improvement came on the Science section where he  improved 8 points!  Good job Savan!  We look forward to even more  improvement.

Kamau Haymon
Kamau  improved 3 points from a practice exam he too with us in November 2012  to a practice exam he took in Ferburary 2013. Kamau got 16 more  questions correct.  His greatest improvement came on the English section  where he improved 4 points!  Good job Kamau!  We look forward to even  more improvement. 

Ember Smith
Ember  improved 4 points from the Sept 2012 nationally administered ACT to the  Dec 2012 nationally administered ACT.  Ember's greatest improvements  came on the English and Math where she improved 7 points on each  section.  Great Job Ember!  We look forward to even more improvement.

Attondra Oneil
Attondra  improved 2 points from a practice exam she took on February 12, 2012 to  the recent practice exam administered November 11, 2012.  Attondra's  greatest improvement came on the Reading section where she improved 7  points.  Good job Attondra!  We look forward to even more improvement.   Attondra is currently enrolled in her second cycle of classes.   Congratulations Attondra!

Jasmine Townes
Jasmine  improved her composite score by 4 points from the practice exam she  took on November 11, 2012 to the practice exam administered on December  2, 2012.  She got a total of 19 more questions correct.  Her largest  improvement came on the math section where she got 13 more questions  correct for a 6 point increase.  Her largest score improvement came on  the reading section where she got 11 more questions correct for an 8  point increase.  With more practice, Jasmine can make even more  improvements.  Congratulations Jasmine!

Kiela Nelson
Kiela  improved 4 composite points from a practice ACT she took in December  2011 to a practice test issued July 2012.  Her largest improvement came  on the English section where she improved by 7 points and .  Great job  Kiela!!  Keep up the good work as you work toward an even higher  score.  By the way, this is Kiela's 3rd cycle of classes and she has  improved her score after every cycle.  She started with us the summer  after her freshman year in high school.

Jasmine McClain
Jasmine  improved 4 composite points from the last ACT she took a practice test  she took July 2012.  This improvement came after only 4 classes.  Great  job Jasmine!  Keep up the good work toward an even higher score.

Tyler Pierce
Tyler  improved 5 points from the Illinois ACT he took in April to the June  National Testing date.  His largest improvement came in the English  where he improved by 8 points and received a perfect score!!  Phenomenal  work Tyler!  We wish you even more success in college.

Tevin O'neil
Tevin  improved 7 composite points from the Illinois ACT he took in April to  the June National Testing date.  His largest improvement came on the  Reading section where he improved by 14 points.  This type of  improvement is extremely rare given the time between tests to prepare.   Record setting job Tevin!!  Keep up the good work and we wish you even  more success in college.

Nosakhere Obannon
Nosa  improved 3 composite points from a practice test he took December 2011  to the Illinois ACT he took April 2012. Great job Nosa and we forward to  even more improvement in the future.

Tevin Oneil
Tevin  answered 21 more questions correct from a practice test andministered  February 12, 2012 to a test administered April 1, 2012.  This led to a 2  point increase in Tevins composite score and he was only 1-2 more  questions correct from improving his composite score by 3 points.  Great  job Tevin!!!  Keep up the good work!  We look forward to even more  improvement.

Alex Simmons
Alex  improved 4 composite scores from one practice to another in just 3-4  classes.  His greatest improvement came in the science section where he  improved by 6 points!!  Great job Alex!!  Keep up the good work and we  look forward to even more improvement!!!

Nosakhere Obannon
Nosa  improved his composite score by 4 points from a test he took in August  of 2011 to a test he took December 11, 2011.  Great job Nosa!!  Keep up  the good work and we look forward to even more improvement!!!

Kiela Nelson
Kiela  Nelson got 11 more questions correct and improved her score by 2  composite points from a test she took on August 7, 2011 to a test she  took on August 28, 2011.  Her greatest improvement came on Math section  where she improved by 2 points!!!!!! Great job Kiela. Keep up the good  work!!!!

Jonah Bishop
Jonah  got 43 more questions correct to improve by 6 composite points from a  practice test he took July 13, 2011 to a test he took on August 28,  2011.  His greatest improvement came on the Math section where he got 16  more questions correct and imporved 7 points.  Phenomenal job Jonah!!!   This was one of the greatest improvements of any of our students in  such a short amount of time!!  Keep up the good work!!!

Borkeny Sambou
Borkeny  improved her composite score by 3 points from the actual ACT she took  in April to a practice test she took July 13, 2011.  Her greatest  improvement came on the English section where she improved by 5 points.   Great job Borkeny!!  Keep up the good work!!!

Malcolm Carter
Malcolm  improved his composite score by 5 points froma practice ACT he took to  the actual ACT he took in April 2011.  Great Job Malcolm!!!  Keep up the  good work and we look forward to even more improvement!!!!

Adjua Goosby
Adjua  got 34 more corrections correct to improve her composite score 4 points  from a test she took October 25, 2009 to a test she took April 11,  2010.  Her greatest improvement came on the science section where she  received 13 more questions correct and improved by 8 points.  Great job  Adjua!!!  Keep up the good work and we look forward to even more  improvement!!!

Gabrielle Moore
Gabrielle  improved her composite score by 6 points on the actual ACT's she took  her junior year of high school.  Great job Gaby!!!!!!

Kamau Haymon
Kamau  got 61 more questions correct to improve his composite score by 9  points from a practice test given October 25, 2009 to a test given  December 13, 2009.  This was our greatest improvement of any student.   Excellent job!!  Keep up the good work and we forward to more  improvement in the future!!!
